Bio

 

Sasha Alexandra is a multidisciplinary artist based in Loveland, Colorado. She produces drawings, sculpture, and video. Alexandra’s practice emerges from a background in ceramic art. Her work is influenced by themes of tactility, permanence, and glazed surface. In 2013, Alexandra earned a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in Ceramics. Additionally, that year she was granted a Windgate Fellowship Award from the Center of Craft Creativity and Design. Alexandra received a Post-Baccalaureate in Pottery from Colorado State University in 2017. She went on to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated with an MFA in Art Practices in 2020. Alexandra’s work has been featured in Revue de la Céramique et du Verre and has been exhibited nationally, including at the Kennedy Museum of Art (Athens, OH), Sherry Leedy Contemporary Art (Kansas City, MO), Eutectic Gallery (Portland, OR), and Rule Gallery (Denver, CO).
